The awards for artistic excellence were presented in Madrid by the Grupo Pro Arte y Cultura. The ceremony took place this Saturday in Madrid, in a ceremony held in the house museum of Mayte Spínola, its founder.
Among the members of the Pro Art and Culture Group are such important personalities as the painter Antonio López, the writer Carmen Posadas and collectors of the stature of Carmen Thyssen and Alicia Koplowitz. The objectives of this collective are to promote cultural activity, encouraging new talents and creators in different artistic disciplines. It is a group that has participated in the creation of more than 30 museums in Spain and other countries.

It was a fantastic night for the award winners, especially for the artist Lika Shkhvatsabaia, who was thrilled and happy to receive the Diploma of Excellence in Abstract Painting.
Madrid's cultural world attended the event in large numbers in a fraternal gathering.
