The exhibition of the winning works of the “Artist of Europe Award 2023” was inaugurated yesterday, Friday 18 January, at the prestigious Antonio Battaglia Gallery in Milan, located in the heart of the Brera district, a stone's throw from the Academy of Fine Arts and the Brera Art Gallery, the hub of the Milanese art scene and the international epicentre of culture and the new avant-garde.
The Artist of Europe Award 2023, organised by PitturiAmo, aims to strengthen the careers of artists internationally, offering them a solid reference on their CV and the opportunity to enter a circle of artists selected to work with major European gallery owners (Rome, Vienna, Madrid, Milan, etc.) and this is precisely the ultimate goal of the project called "Top Selection".
The winners of the "Artist of Europe Award 2023" went through a long and difficult selection led by the gallery owner Battaglia who there received their certificates of merit.
The painter Lika Shkhvatsabaia participated with the work "Cudillero" (70x100cm.) with which she has been awarded the 15 Top Selection best artist of Europe, a recognition of her work, for being a creative who has managed, through her abstract and figurative expressionist style, to transmit the emotion and beauty of life and nature. Their work is a journey through the senses, an exploration of life itself through colour, form and emotion.
All the artists in the TOP SELECTION will also be included on a special website with restricted access for European gallery owners, thus having the opportunity to be part of their exhibition programmes, exclusive invitations to the best international art events.
