In Madrid from October 3 to 10, 2022
The “Interior Landscape” exhibition, which takes place at Espacio Mados, brings together a unique collection of works created in the last two years. The artist Lika Shkhvatsabaia presents us with a varied selection of paintings rich in expressiveness and color, composed of abstract and figurative expressionist works faithful to her style and technique. We were also surprised by her collection of graphic works based on drawing.
The exhibition is a great display of an artist who masterfully handles both drawing and abstract painting, where her strokes are not born only from gesture, but are part of her own creative development. It is the act of painting at its best, applied spontaneously, intuitively, directly, with all the honesty that characterizes her painting.
Each work in this exhibition is a window into the artist's personal history, inspired by her travels, the discovery of new places and the experiences lived in various cities, painting her impressions, experiences, in short, meeting the expectations of the visiting public.
Through her works, the artist seeks to share with the viewer not only the visual beauty, but also the emotion and history that each piece contains.
