Presented by the curator and director of the gallery, Ika Bokuchava, the exhibition is being presented with enormous expectation, given that this is an artist with a long career and international recognition who is returning home with a personal and intimate exhibition.
One Story Diary" is made up of 35 paintings in large and medium formats, the result of a very special stage in her creativity and artistic career, carried out in Madrid (Spain), where the artist has lived for the last 10 years and which she considers to be a very significant period in her career. The exhibition tells us a story in images of dreams, desires and journeys, of a time of changes and searches, it tells us about her impressions and experiences, about new landscapes and friends, mixing art and life, reliving unrepeatable moments of life.
The visiting public will find a luxury exhibition, distinguished by its elegance, a collection that reveals a very personal technique, her painting is above all the expression through color, it is harmony, music, structure, compositions built with rhythms that are born from the silence of her poetic and evocative universe.
Among the paintings in the collection, composed of impressive expressionist abstracts in vibrant colours, we would like to mention some in particular, "Bolero", an imposing painting of large dimensions, inspired by the musical work of Ravel. The energy transmitted, which the work carries like the eternal melody.
The painting ¨Granada¨, which represents the city of Granada, a magical and special place that inspires him a lot, he has several paintings dedicated to the city, and the work "Teatro" - a painting that transmits mystery, like a theatre play.
¨BOLERO¨ - Mixed media on canvas - 150 x 150 cm.
¨GRANADA¨ - Mixed media on canvas - 65 x 90 cm.
"Theater " - Mixed media on canvas - 150 x 150 cm.
We would also like to highlight her artistic cv, Lika Shkhvatsabaia has an intense artistic career, with international exhibitions, awards and recognition for her work.
Undoubtedly, this exhibition is a tribute to individuality, each work reflects a process of personal exploration. She knows how to transmit that creative sensitivity through emotion.
